Space Machine

Using energy as an active building material Space Machine produces a lounge for the students on site to produce actions, change, and relationships which in turn help generate its form. This is meant to be an open project made out of modules that have the potential to grow and adapt to different situations.

 

The current site used is on the Florida International University’s Modesto Maidique campus just in front of the north access to the library. It is a perfect spot to produce a lounge where students may gather and interact not only with themselves but with the Machine as well.
